today in bloggy world:)

I've decided to just post in somewhat of a journal entry style, considering, it's important for me to just keep updated on what's going on in my life.
So there's 2 weeks of school left, did you hear that? TWO WEEKS, i can't believe this is the end of my fourth fall back here, i just read over my journal entry from my first fall here, crazy how much things change, how much I've changed over that time. I really can see how the Lord directed me to come here, I don't want to go to in depth as to all the self discovering and life changing experiences I've had here, but I just really more than ever, know that this is where I'm supposed to be at this point in my life.
I just got a job on campus at the student wellness center. It's perfect because it goes right along with my major, helping people get fit and healthy. I'm currently filling the position of nutrition specialist for the biggest winner program here on campus, however it's possible that I might be taking over the position of director next semester! Director, of the WHOLE biggest winner program, and getting paid to do it?! I really hope that works out, because even though it's a huge responsibility and i will be new to the whole delegating concept, I think i'll learn a lot.
I'm still personal training, I find it so rewarding, gosh! My client this semester is down 11lbs from where we started! She is a rock star, and it's so fun to see someone make these life changes and feel happier and healthier about them self.
I'm starting to really practice my cooking (although i prefer baking) but this semester me and 2 of my other roommates have been taking turns cooking for each other, we each take a night of the week, my night is Tuesday. I've really enjoyed it (even though there have been a couple disasters.) But it's making me excited to cook for my future kids and family!!
Have I mentioned also that I have a great solid group of friends here in Rexburg? That's one thing i'm really grateful for, I feel like I don't just come back here to go to school, I honestly feel like Rexburg has become my home, and i LOVE it. I love walking through campus and always seeing people I know, I love knowing my bishopric on a deeper level than just "well i'll talk to you once during the semester", I love FHE brothers who are so cute and fun and more like family than friends, I love going on random lunch dates with Logan, I love Jon and Phil just "dropping in" and doing the craziest things with them, I love baking Sundays with Alyssa, I love study parties in the library with Mitch, soccer with skyler and alex, and i love that i have the best roommate ever!
Yes,  have become my best friends actually. We all are just at good places in our lives, and are able to grow and learn from each other. Savannah and McKenzie aren't going to be here next semester and that makes me so sad, because there will never be another time that we'll all live together. It's Karly's last semester, and SURPRISE, mine too, well, for a year and a half......interpret that as you will ;)

  1. You have a bright future ahead of you! Enjoy all these memories you are making now. They'll be amongst some of your fondest when you all go your separate ways and start the "other half" of your life. I'm excited about what lies ahead for you and I'm excited to hear you SO.HAPPY. Go get em'!
