Passion.

I'm not an overly passionate person....but the few things I am passionate about resonate strong in my life.
Some of these things include: health and fitness, vocabulary/proper grammar, our political duties, education, and of course the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Lately I've had very strong reinforcement regarding each of my passions, and i am grateful that I have been blessed by my Heavenly Father to care so deeply about several very important things.  I know that our gifts and talents are given to us by Him to further His work, and help His children. This week, in particular, I've had my eyes really opened to my love for health and fitness.  I have been working for Meleluca: The Wellness Company, which is based here in Idaho, but distributes products all over the world. I was doing wellness consultations with their employees, going over their weight, BMI, blood pressure, blood testing results, and then setting goals and advising them on ways to improve. I LOVED THIS.  I know that I have been blessed with a body that works and is healthy and I also have been blessed with an excessive amount of knowledge through my education, on how to help other improve their health. I saw so many people who really are trapped within their bodies! My heart just breaks for these people, if only they knew! Our bodies really are gifts given to us, and it is our responsibility to take care of them. Our bodies have the capacity to do so much good, but so many, no too many people, are limited because they are not taking the things into their bodies, or doing the things to their bodies, that are going to allow them to do these good things that will help them become their best self! Being healthy is HARD work, I know I'm not even close to being perfect, and I have a lot of room for improvement, but I know that it's a constant lifestyle, being healthy, and that when we are aware of our weaknesses, that is when we can take the steps necessary to improve on them. I just wish I could sit down with every single person and evaluate their health and wellness, in regards to the things we can control. Life is meant to be enjoyed, and so many people are cutting theirs short through bad health!
