"Me Time"

I have come to appreciate just a little bit of what being a mom can feel like. Not from the stand point of having kids running around all day and taking care of their every need, but the concept of never having time to just be by yourself and do what you want to do. College is funny, in the sense that you are CONSTANTLY around people. If you aren't in class, you're at the library, or hanging out with someone, or at work, or even at your apartment where you have 6 roommates and one that shares a room with you. I've found that I'm very seldom alone  (well aside from when I use the bathroom or am in my car.) But tonight is a Friday night, my very amazing room roommate who I adore is out of town, and I am perfectly content locking up in my room alone and just taking time to myself!!! I honestly never though I'd see the day when on a Friday night I was content doing homework, munching on ice cream, and going to bed early, but it's quite rewarding actually! I feel very accomplished, very content, and very calm. Even facebook holds little intrigue to me tonight....I just want to be disconnected (I say, as I blog to the world) haha but seriously...me time is good:)
