Life Unexpected

This is the long awaited post, that I have put off posting because frankly, I am a fickle person, and I change my mind from time-to-time, however, one thing I am certain of, is that I am going to serve a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (eeeeeee!)
Many of my followers may be unaware or unsure of what  this means, so i'll tell you. Those boys in suits and badges that you often times see riding bikes around town or knocking on your door, those are missionaries. In our church boys are encouraged to serve a two year mission when they turn 19 years old. Our message as missionaries is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who do not have it. We share and teach by the spirit of God, and from the words of God which are in the Bible as well as the Book of Mormon.
As a woman, I will be serving an 18 month mission, somewhere (yet to be discovered, but coming soon) away from my home! There are missionaries all over the world, so there's quite a list of where I could be sent, but our calls come from God, so I know that I will go where he wants me:)

This choice to serve the Lord is one that I had never anticipated being a part of my life, but now that it is, I am excited to embark on this new journey! Life is so unexpected sometimes, but that's what makes it so great!
