We have been advised to avoid becoming prideful, but I have to say that there is one thing that I take deep sincere pride in, and that is our country. Sometimes I get caught up in life, and forget about the simple blessings I've been given, starting with the freedom that men and women have fought and died for. I'm especially grateful for a country that stands under God, and for the freedom to worship as we please. I wish I were a more patriotic person year round, but i will say without a hint of hesitation that I'm Proud to be an American, and we live in a damn good country:)
