Beautiful

what a beautiful thing it must be to be a mother...
I don't know yet exactly what it is like, but I have seen so many good examples of beautiful mothers.
I think of the mother of our Savior Jesus Christ, and the amazing woman she must have been to raise the Savior of the world. She was just a young girl and yet she possessed the qualities necessary that Heavenly Father trusted her enough to raise His only begotten son.
And then I look at mothers like Emma Smith, who lost several children, and went through so much pain and heartache, and yet still maintained a home, and raise a family.
There are beautiful women throughout my life who I look at and admire for the way they raise their children, and the sacrifices they make on behalf of their families, and who give up their bodies, and their jobs, and their wants, in order to raise children.
And then I look at my own mom, and if I can just turn out to be a fraction of the mom she is I'll be happy. She has so much love and compassion, and she never thinks of herself, since as far back as I can remember she has been doing everything for me and my sisters, and I don't know what I would do without her. She is truly an example of a righteous woman, who although sometimes she may not feel like she has this huge significant task, she has done an outstanding job raising us, and I wouldn't be where i am today without her.
I can't wait for the opportunity to be a mom, I honestly don't see any other job that could be as rewarding, or as challenging, or as growth developing than to raise children.
So here's to all the moms out there, who hug, worry, talk, nurture, and lead. You are appreciated, and you are important:)
