One Love

You don't stand in front
of a mirror before a run...

and wonder what the road
will think of your outfit.

 You don't have to listen to its
jokes and pretend they're funny.
 
It would not be easier to run
if you dressed sexier.
 
The road doesn't notice
if you're not wearing lipstick.
 
It does not care
how old you are.
 
You do not feel
uncomfortable...
 
because you make more money
than the road.
 
And you can call on the road
whenever you feel like it,
 
whether it's been a day...

 or a couple of hours
since your last date.
 
The only thing
the road cares about...

 is that you pay it a visit
once in a while.

Tonight I went to the gym with my friend Logan, and he found my groove. Exercise (shocker since it's my major) haha I am going to blog about exercise (not all the time, because well, i have other passions too) but it's gonna be "my groove"

First off, I'd like to express my passion for running. Nothing clears your mind better, or makes you feel more alive than a good run. I love that Nike add, it speaks to me:)
Anyways todays picture of the day is inspired by my new running shoes that I got for Christmas. The Nike Frees, Logan has them too, so after our run I made him take pictures of them with me (what a trooper)

Okay, so Logan gets credit for this picture, but none the less, these shoes are SICK

I have been a true-blue asics girl through and through for a while now, but i gotta tell ya, these are giving my asics a run for their money, i wear them 24/6 (not sundays because i wear church shoes)

Well everybody, go for a nice run, and put those running shoes to work! nothing feels better let me tell ya, and if you can't get motivated just remind youself " someone who is busier than you is running right now"
