I have decided that when I do eventually get married, I want to marry my best friend...I think friendship is such a necessary pre-requisite to a relationship....when I hang out with some of my guy friends, I think to myself if I could see myself spending forever with them....and you know what, a lot of them I could see myself wanting to be around them for a long time...I mean obviously things are differnet when you get to know someone on an intimate level, but for the most part...yeah...i would be happy.
One thing with marrying your best friend though, is sometimes that takes patience, because friendships need to grow BEFORE a relationship develops.
Patience is hard, I wish i were more blessed with it, but you know what, I think true patience is trust in the Lord and even more important, trust in His timing.
I know that if i'm patient I will get to marry my best friend...I can't wait.
